APPEAL // Tall and thin, a lanky build, Vincent stands at about five foot eight. He is much smaller than his bass, making it quite comical to see a student as thin as he is carrying it up stairs. He has beautiful hazel-green eyes and a charming smile that he uses to his advantage. His short but shaggy mousy brown hair frames his ears but leaves his chin bare; he often has it brushed back and hidden under a black fedora hat.
He has large hands and long fingers that are thin and somewhat clumsy, though never when it involves something important. He has an odd style of clothing that usually includes tight black jeans or pants and a silky blue or red collared shirt. He wears accessories like a watch, ring, wristband and single earring when they match his clothes but his hat is nearly always with him.
PERSONALITY // Vincent is a humorous young man who loves spouting random facts. He begins most of his sentences with “Would it interest you to know…” to which anyone around him will generally reply “No!” However it has been proven that his these seemingly unrelated data keeps him focused on whatever is at hand. He has said, “Facts are the stitches that hold the fabric of time together. Without them, the world falls apart.”
He is a kind boy at heart who lives only to prove himself to his teachers and the musicians of the world. Though he annoys his teachers, he has earned their trust and respect. He is also a very hard worker when it comes to his schooling and music.
He has a very British outlook on life due to his past and he often says things the others don’t quite understand. When this happens, he usually gives a random fact and moves on.
He is usually the type of guy who goes after the person he wants but this time, he’s completely stumped as to what t do. He is not a shy individual but because they share some classes, it could get awkward. He has never tried a relationship with a guy before but he is completely open to the option

HISTORY // Vincent Cartwright was born in Birmingham England to loving parents. There he attended an all boys’ boarding school as most young British people do these days. There he took up playing cello. After a year he noticed the old, beat-up bass in a corner. At the age of ten, Vince became the best bassist at the school.
Two years later, after a long pressed study of this large instrument, his parents sent him to LMA, London’s Musical Academy. Unfortunately, they id not have the theater program Vincent was looking for. As a freshman, they transferred him here. He is a year ahead of the rest of his class and is going to graduate a year early.
He has recently decided to try to learn some new instruments. Though he is incredibly brilliant, he is having trouble switching his mind around to treble clef. He has been given a FLUTE and a TRUMPET from his parents, who are incredibly rich.
His father, a very important lawyer in London and his mother, a famous author, have money to spare. They bought him XANDER when he entered eighth grade and the shiny bass hasn’t seen a scratch.
He started working in theater around sixth grade and fell in love with it. Due to his love of DJing as well, he has fallen more toward sound than lights but he enjoys them both.
RP EXAMPLE // **I didn't know if the sample needed to be with this character. If it does let me know and I can write one up.**
The huge tree stood daunting above her. She had climbed high things before. Great StormClan she had been to the tip of the Lightingspire and back many times but this was different. Not only was it five times taller than the rocky mountain but it was also the death place of her beloved mentor. Blackberry had been the bravest cat she knew to climb that tall tree, only to fall and be killed.
How could she be so stupid? She should never have let him go up there. Even so, she should have grabbed the leaves and taken them back at the same time as she did his body. She yelled mentally at herself. Blackberry had died in vain! But she would not make the same mistake he had. She would get the leaves and come back alive. Her Clan needed her.
She unsheathed her claws and started upward. The going was easy at first. She had spent plenty of time climbing trees so she could get better looks at butterfly's or leaves or other herbs. The branches hung low at this level and she made great time for the first third of the tree. But then the branches grew further apart until there where no more branches. This is where it got difficult.
She took a deep breath before starting for the middle third of the tree. This stretch was much slower but she took her time. Better to be home late than dead. She had started at moon-high and reach the top of the tree about forty minutes before dusk. She grabbed a mouthful of leaves, not daring to let them go or she may loose these ones as well by the time she returned to the ground.
She took a deep breath, turning her eyes up toward the darkening sky. "Please! StormClan save me and let me safely reach the ground, if not for me then for DayClan. StormClan guide me!" With her prier finished she turned and headed down. The going down was much much slower and it was already deep night by the time she was a quarter of the way down. It was here that she realized where exactly she was. Here eyes widened when she recognized the single branch. This si where he had lost his footing. Where Blackberry had fallen!
She yelled at herself to calm down, to slow her furiously beating heart. Her left paw searched the bark for a foothold. Despite what she was telling herself, her heart beat faster once she realized there was nothing to grab. Her foot slipped and she could feel the loose bark plummeting toward the earth. She was clinging to the tree when she felt something light brush her foot. A leaf? Impossible, she hadn't dropped one and there where no branches here.
Again it brushed the soft pad of her paw. She realized that whatever it was trying to show her here to put her paw. Knowing she had no other choice but to trust it -help or instinct?- she followed the touch until she found a hold, a little farther than she would have liked, but it was solid.
She going was even slower than it had been before. After a few saves from her guide she realized her life was completely in it's hands. She followed it to a T, not moving unless she had an ok from the creature. It was well past Moonhigh once her paw touched soled earth.
Her eyes widened when she realized she could drop to the ground. Her breathing was heavy, then it hit her. She had made it! She glanced around frantically for her savior, finally finding him. He was large and mostly black with beautiful purple eyes that she had only seen in one other creature. It's back looked as though it had been splashed with purple paint, she same shade as his eyes.
She realized with a start that her beloved mentor, Blackberry, had come back to guide her in the form of a butterfly.
