#01. There is to be no trash talking, cussing, asking of personal info, picking favorites, bad images, or hurtful statements. Trash talking, bad images, and cussing are obvious and picking favorites and saying hurtful things can upset members and chase them off the site. As said above, probing into other's lives is deeply personal and to be honest, quite stalker-like, so refrain from that. Let's try to all be friends here and not be rude to each other.
#02. You can talk about anything but the following: Porn, Personal Info, Other Members... practically everything listed in #01. Other topics such as chat on books and questions and overall just chat is fine.
#03. Images should be no larger than 500 x 300 unless they can be cropped and created into clickable banners. If I find an image inappropriate or too large I will add move it some where safe for you and take it out of your signature and display to other members.
#04. This is easy... No affiliating or advertising outside of the Advertise/Affiliate board! If you want me to clarify, this means no posting your site URL, or saying, "look at my site" or "Click here, and this leads to my site!" That's only for the Advertise board and it stays in the Advertising board.
#05. Follow all of the rules listed above and listen to the staff and whatever they say. There will be no arguing or fighting with the staff. We work hard on this site and it just gets way to difficult for us when someone tries to give us a headache with their nonsense.
#06. Your username must match one of your character's names [once created] and is not allowed to stretch the screen. It can contain letters and symbols.
[CHARACTERS]
#01. You may only create three characters and only one may be in the top class. Once you make your first character, you must wait a day before making another, just to make it easier for the staff to keep up with. [I know, it's not very long, so be patient and follow this rule. It may be taken down later]
#02. The code word for making an application is // one in a handful
#03. Once a face is claimed, another member may not make a character with a celebrity that has been claimed. They may, however ASK the other person to possible let them have the celebrity but it is highly unlikely that the claim will be given up.
#04. Before role-playing you must make an application following the form given in the 'C H A R A C T E R S' board. If the application is incomplete please put [NF] or [UF] in the title AND application. An admin or staff DOES have to approve it before role-playing and there is to be no arguing against their decision if they say to fix something.
** You character MUST be approved before you join a thread or roleplay. If your character is not approved before you post, I will find out, delete your post and make you restart you character. Sorry for being strict, but you shouldn't post without a confirmed character. Thank you.
** You must finish your bio within two weeks of creation unless you have an excuse. I will give a warning on each thread on how many days they have left if it's taking too long.
[IN CHARACTER]
#01. Please do not get graphic or out of hand [cough you know what I mean] use a scene skip if necessary. Really, people, try not to include any of that anyway!
#02. Each post has to be a minimum of 8 - 10 sentences, please. There is no maximum. I know we can all post and type more than six sentences at least! No posting [short]. That does not qualify for the minimum.
#03. No god-moding [making your character do something unrealistic or supernatural / impossible] and no power playing. [acting another person's character] Also, I'd like if you kept your roleplays as third person... it can be first person if you want, but third is preferred.]
** And don't forget to use spell-check! We don't want to see completely distorted, unreadable, messy and extremely il-literate posts. A few spelling mistakes are fine, but try to prevent such things from becoming habits. <3
** No double posting. It gets confusing and angers me deeply! Please, just don't do it.
** Please use font size one, sup or sub. I don't know why I freak out when it's not like that... maybe because I'm a perfectionist or OCD but either way, it's nicer looking that way so, please, post in font size one or smaller.
** Please post in colors that we can SEE without HIGHLIGHTING the words. If i continued to see a problem with this, I will throw a fit and may even make a 'accepted fonts list'. No really, I am a freak that way so unless you really want to test me, I'd like if you post in see able or matching colors.
